How to read this rating

  • It has a yellowish detail, shown below. They take points off, but they are not enough to call it a “sensationalist article”: that happens when sensationalism sets the tone of the whole article. In the statistics it counts among articles “with some sensationalist detail”.
  • Why is the rating high? What the article does well, such as naming the person’s identity, giving context or echoing the demand for justice, offsets part of what takes points off. It never erases it: an article with flags does not reach 100.

A shadow chases Pablo Montero. Among his personal problems, which include addictions, work indiscipline and some loves, the tragedy is also part of the life of the rancher singer, originally from Torreón.

With the murder of his brother, Javier Hernández Rodríguez, it will be the second time that Montero has to say a premature goodbye to one of his four brothers.

The morning of this Wednesday, the ministerial authorities of the Attorney General's Office of Coahuila reported the discovery of a body on the corner of Ocampo Avenue and Gonzalez Ortega Street, in the second square of the city.

The man who was stabbed to death was identified as Javier Hernández Rodríguez, 45, the singer's brother. The authorities confirmed that the relatives have already gone to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service of the Laguna delegation to identify the body.

Three years ago, his brother Oliver, who also served as his manager, was killed on the road to Torreón. At that time it was said that the death had been due to a car accident.

However, the policy reported that Oliver, 40, was shot while driving. It was not clear if it was an attempted robbery or kidnapping, butit transpired that Oliver accelerated his vehicle but was hit by criminals, who shot him.

The Hernández Rodríguez family is once again dressed in mourning with the loss of Javier, 45, who worked as a makeup artist and stylist.

Javier haddrawn attention for declaring himself openly homosexual, a matter that always had the support of Montero.

"I'm not ashamed of having a gay brother, I'm ashamed the people who reject them. I'm not homophobic. I love my brother and when he marries I will be by his side for whatever he wants", the actor also expressed at the time.

The family consisted of Javier, Efraán El Chato, Oliver, Mercedes La Nena and Ã"scar Daniel (Pablo Montero); children of Mercedes Rodríguez and Javier Hernández.

Pablo Montero has had to deal with various problems, which until now, have hindered his career as a singer and actor.

Hasta la noche de ayer, Montero no había dado declaraciones y su mánager desconocía la noticia.
