La diputada Delfina Pozos indicó que hace dos meses el Poder Legislativo tenía previsto avanzar con el dictamen de la reforma. La iniciativa para reconocer las infancias trans se encuentra en la Comisión de Procuración y Administración de Justicia, a cargo del diputado Mauricio Céspedes Peregrina.
Y es que sectores conservadores, la bancada panista y la propia Iglesia Católica en Puebla mostraron su rechazo a la propuesta. Públicamente señalan que atenta contra las y los menores de edad y erróneamente afirman que tendrá consecuencias físicas.
Descartó decir expresamente si está a favor o en contra, sin embargo, mostró su rechazo a que la SCJN ordene qué legislar en Puebla. Dijo que la Corte no puede convertirse en “legisladora”, pues “es una tarea de las diputadas y los diputados”.
